Beth Stockdale is a professional nanny, author and song writer. She writes children’s fiction and informational fiction picture books. She also enjoys illustrating.

Beth is an elf moderator on 12x12challenge.com. She engages in Picture Book Summit’s podcasts, videos, and annual summit, and she is a member of the Society of Children’s Books Writers and Illustrators.

These are a few of her favorite things: reading picture books, going to the beach and sinking her toes in the sand, cooking new recipes! She loves chocolate, coffee, wine, and lemon desserts, but her favorite is Crème brûlé. Her favorite color is red because red is powerful! She also loves fluffy white clouds, a beautiful blue sky and the big blue sea! She loves animals and cares very deeply about conservation efforts. One day Beth hopes to go whale watching and look straight into a blue whale’s eye and say, “Hi-de-ho, blue whalie-o.”
